Rajasthani Caravan aims to promote, preserve, and share Rajasthani culture. Performances will include various elements of the Rajasthani arts: colorful costumes, the spinning dance of the snake-charmer, devotional singing, unusual instruments, story-telling, and ancient love songs.

FIROZE KHAN MANGANIAR
Firoze Khan, the son of the acclaimed musician Sakar Khan Manganiar, have been playing since childhood. Today, he is world renowned for his technical skill, emotional rendering and vast repertoire of traditional Managaniyar folk songs. Mainstays in Grammy-winning Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt’s Desert Slide project, he has have also collaborated on projects in film, theatre and education. Firoze Khan plays the dholak, the double-headed hand drum, and is the undisputed master of the instrument. He has performed for BBC Symphony Orchestra at an event organized by the Asian Music Circuit, in the “From father to son” program conceived and hosted by both Ravi Shankar and Yehudi Menuhin in 1995 and has toured Worldwide.
JALAL KHAN
He is a prominent and an approval singer of All India Radio as B high Grade. He sings with a powerful and moving voice while playing Harmonium .He has performed in Internationally and has been a member of the famous group Manganiar Seduction.
TAGA RAM BHEEL
He is an approved high grade artist of All India Radio. He learned folk and classical ragas from Akbar Khan a court musician who is founder of Ustad Arba Music Institute. Taga Ram Bheel is very talented and prominent player of Algoza (double vertical flutes), Morchang, and internationally known as Jew-sharp and also he play Ghara (an ordinary water pitcher). He has performed in Internationally and is one of the worlds most famous Algoza players. His home is featured in Lonely Planet as a must see village in the Thar Dessert.

KATRINA JI
Her love for Rajasthani Folk Dance started in 1999 after seeing the film Latcho Drom. She then pursued learning Rajasthani Dance in 2001 and has had the honor of studying, touring and performing with Suva Devi Kalbelia. She can perform the dances of Kalbelia, Ghoomar, Chari Pot, Tera Tali, Ghorband and Ghoda. She also happens to be the organizer and artisic director of Rajasthani Caravan. JUNAID YOUNUS
Juniad’s love for Rajasthani culture can be seen through his performance of the Rajasthani Folk Song, Khari Neem on Coke Studios Show Sound of the Nation TV Program. Thari is a variant of Marwari dialect of Rajasthani language and is spoken in western parts of Jaisalmer and Barmer districts of Rajasthan in India and eastern parts of Sindh province of Pakistan.
